I prob have One of the Oldest PCS here Well that I dont use but I still can lol.
Its a P3 at 800Mhz CPU prosess Speed
767 Mb of RAM (or Around there)
256 MB AGP Nvidia Videocard 6200 Series
the Actual PC is almost 8 Years old and Yet Iv been able to Run GW in the Past on it Fine.
I can Actully Put Guildwars on the Highest detail level Possible and Run around Problem Free (In most Areas) But It auto detects at the Halfway Detail level. But still I get Almost 15-20 FPS on it. (In Good Areas lol)
A Few Exseptions tho.....
I Cant AB with it without it Getting Really bad FPS and Slowness. But its still playable there.
Or in Heros Ascent

WHY DID YOU ALL GET VISTA!!! its so useless, and sucks major
it will be another 1-2 years before i even CONSIDER upgrading
why...it doesnt "upgrade" anything except the amount of memory it consumes

They probably got vistas because its new and has lots of new shiny features that eat up lots of memory. Then again most PC you buy these days will have vistas.

Mine is about a year old.
AMD X2 4400+
GeForce 7800GT
2gigs 2325 timing ram
It was top of the line when I built it. I think I used old keyboard, monitor, etc., and only bought the vid card, cpu, and ram. Jumping on new technology is always a risk, the CPU was $460, the Vid Card $350, and the Ram $200, and those prices have sunk so that now it would probably cost $500 for all three. However, I am still able to play every new game on max settings, so the technology has not become outdated.

Mine is pretty old, it was made in March, with only 2 GB Corsair Dominators, an 8800 GTS, and a 22" widescreen.
When you think that I do 3D design work with it, it is pretty slow.

Built mine about 3 years ago, though with numerous upgrades in the last year:
AMD 64 3700+
2GB of RAM
Geforce 7800GS AGP OC'd slightly
Soundblaster X-Fi XtremeGamer
520GB of Hard Drive space, across four drives
Runs everything I can throw at it, still. It's future is minimal though, since the 3700+ being the most recent Socket 737 CPU available...and a lack of PCI-X support.

Well, my work PC is an old IBM Thinkcenter. Don't know what year; the State Police always gets crap though.
1.0ghz Celeron
768mb ram
New nVidia 7600GT 256mb AGP
Sound Blaster 16
Stock 20gb HDD
Some generic keyboard (Dell?)
The original Lazer mouse from the late 90's
Windows 2000
440W PSU
Somehow I still manage to get 77 fps on it. I'm lucky if I can even keep it running for more than an hour, 6 fans custom mounted to the case and it still overheats in 45min. It also sounds like a lawnmower.
